Day 1, Week 1 at Camp Honeysuckle 🌿☀️

What a wonderful start to Week 1 of Camp Honeysuckle!

Today was all about getting to know one another, building friendships, and jumping into the exciting world of mini-preneurship. We learned more about each camper through fun conversations about their names, birthdays, favorite foods, and favorite activities. It was such a fun way to connect and celebrate what makes each child unique.

Our big learning topic for Day 1 was What is a Brand?

The girls learned that a brand is what makes your product, idea, or business special and recognizable. It is how people remember you!

We explored the different pieces that make up a brand:

🎨 Your Name
What is your business or product called?

🖍️ Your Logo
A picture, symbol, or design people recognize.

🌈 Your Colors & Style
The colors, look, and feeling your brand gives people.

💬 Your Message
What are you creating and why should people love it?

⭐ Your Personality
Is your brand fun, sporty, creative, fancy, silly, outdoorsy, colorful, or calming?

The girls had so much fun creating their very own brands and bringing their ideas to life by designing their own chalkboard brand signs. Creativity was flowing and it was exciting to watch their personalities shine through their names, colors, styles, and ideas.

Of course, camp is all about balance too!

We mixed learning with plenty of play including a lively game of Dog Bingo, a patio picnic lunch while playing UNO, playground time, and pool time to cool off and enjoy the sunshine.

Day 1 was the perfect balance of learning, creating, playing, and having fun with friends.... exactly what Camp Honeysuckle is all about.

We cannot wait to see what our mini-preneurs dream up tomorrow! 🌻
