You will learn the basics of gameplay, from understanding the tiles to building winning hands, through easy guided instruction and hands on practice using the official National Mah Jongg League card. No experience needed at all, just bring your curiosity and get ready to have fun.
Your $75 ticket includes expert instruction, plenty of playing time, use of beautiful Oh My Mahjong designer tiles, an official NMJL playing card, a helpful gameplay overview brochure, and a mini Mahj card featuring popular hands. You will leave feeling confident and maybe even a little hooked. Bring a friend or come make new ones and enjoy a lively, relaxed evening learning this classic game of strategy together.
Check in is from 6:00 to 6:15 pm. Feel free to come early to grab a drink and dinner in downtown Smyrna beforehand.
