Week 2 Recap at Camp Honeysuckle 🌿☀️

What a memorable week at Camp Honeysuckle!

Week 2 was filled with adventure, friendship, teamwork, and real world learning experiences that took us all over the community. Every day brought something new, and by the end of the week, the girls had grown not only as mini preneurs but also as friends.

One of the highlights of the week was launching our very own Ice Cold Lemonade Stand in Downtown Smyrna in front of The Bunny Hive. The girls worked together to create signs, make a plan, set up their stand, greet customers, and sell lemonade. They even visited local businesses to introduce themselves and spread the word. Through the experience, they learned communication skills, confidence, teamwork, customer service, and how to handle payments. Most importantly, they raised enough money to cover their vendor fee for their first Kids Market event and exceeded their goal!

Our adventures continued throughout the week with visits to:

🌿 Altitude Trampoline Park in Marietta
🎬 The Springs Cinema & Taphouse in Sandy Springs
💦 The new Splash Pad at Riverline
🍋 Downtown Smyrna for our Lemonade Stand
🎯 Skol Brewing's new family friendly game room

The girls especially loved exploring Skol Brewing's new game room, which includes arcade games, video games, bocce ball, darts, axe throwing, virtual golf, soccer challenges, giant chess, and more. It was the perfect place to practice teamwork, friendly competition, and problem solving while having fun together.

Of course, there was plenty of time for pool days, playground adventures, games, laughter, and making memories.

One of the most rewarding parts of the week was watching the friendships grow. Spending time together, working toward a common goal, cheering each other on, solving problems together, and sharing adventures helped create stronger bonds between the girls. By the end of the week, they weren't just campers—they were teammates, supporters, and friends.

Week 2 was the perfect example of what Camp Honeysuckle is all about: building confidence, encouraging creativity, learning real world skills, exploring our community, and creating meaningful friendships along the way.

I am incredibly proud of these girls and all they accomplished this week. Their hard work, determination, kindness, and enthusiasm continue to impress me every day. 🌻
