Week 2 was filled with adventure, friendship, teamwork, and real world learning experiences that took us all over the community. Every day brought something new, and by the end of the week, the girls had grown not only as mini preneurs but also as friends.

This week, the girls took their learning beyond camp and into the real world by launching their very own lemonade stand in Downtown Smyrna in front of The Bunny Hive. Their goal was to raise money to cover the vendor fee for the first Kids Market event where the Honeysuckle Club will have a booth.

The campers also got to visit the Treasure Table, where they exchanged the tickets they had earned throughout the week for prizes. Tickets were earned through teamwork, kindness, participation, helping others, and demonstrating great attitudes. The Treasure Table was a huge hit and a fun way to celebrate all of their hard work and positive choices.

As we get closer to our final day, our mini preneurs have been hard at work bringing their brands to life!

We were excited to welcome a special guest, Andrew Aversa (Emma's dad), who shared his experience as an entrepreneur and taught the girls how logos are created from ideas. The campers learned that a great logo helps people recognize and remember a brand.

Today our mini-preneurs continued bringing their brands to life! The girls designed personalized tote bags with fabric markers and added colorful details to their flower sculptures using acrylic paint.

Day 1 was the perfect balance of learning, creating, playing, and having fun with friends.... exactly what Camp Honeysuckle is all about.

At Camp Honeysuckle, we believe summer should be more than just fun. It should be meaningful, inspiring, and full of growth.

This camp was created with a special purpose. To give kids the opportunity to explore creativity while learning how to think like mini preneurs. From designing their own products to working together as a team, campers are encouraged to dream big, take initiative, and build confidence in everything they do.
